— About Sarah Listrom
Sarah Listrom is an independent Pastry Chef in the Austin, TX area.
Sarah (Prieto) grew up in Southern California. After graduating from SDSU with her Bachelors in Multimedia Design, with no previous baking experience, Sarah attended The French Culinary Institute graduating at the top of her class in 2011. She worked in the bay area at Mayfield Bakery, Wayfare Tavern and Saison***.
In 2014, Sarah moved to Texas to take a position as Pastry Lead at Uchiko in Austin. In 2015, she was the opening Pastry Chef at Counter 357 and in the beginning of 2017, she became Pastry Chef of Barley Swine.
In 2019, Sarah was married taking the last name Listrom and in July was the opening Executive Pastry Chef for the new ARRIVE Hotel in East Austin. There she lead both the pastry and bread programs for fine dining spot Vixen’s Wedding, fast casual bar Lefty’s Brick Bar, and events at rooftop Gin Bar.
Since 2020, Sarah has been doing custom orders, pop-ups, consulting, and contract work. Follow on instagram to learn more.
